2009 All-American
Soap Box Derby Race

We hosted the twelfth annual running of the BB&T All-American Soap Box Derby on May
16, 2009. Stock and Super stock classes were held at the Kiwanis
Soap Box Derby Track located
at Phil Moore
Park.
This child-centered, family- and community-oriented event was both
fun and inspirational. New skills were learned and new
friendships forged during the construction of the cars. The
bonding experience between parent, grandparent, guardian or friend
created memories for a lifetime.
