KIWANIS WINTER SPLASH & SWIM
(Raising Money for the
ELIMINATE
Project)
February 18, 2012, 9:00 – 5:30 • Bowling
Green High School
Every 9
minutes, somewhere in the world a baby dies a painful, but
preventable death. Kiwanis Winter Splash & Swim is a
team swim competition to raise money for the Kiwanis
ELIMINATE Project. Kiwanis and unicef have teamed up to
wipe out Maternal / Neonatal Tetanus (MNT) from the face of
the earth. For every $1.80 raised, a mother and all of her
future babies will be protected from MNT.

2012 All-American
Soap Box Derby Race

We will be hosting the fifteenth annual running of the BB&T All-American Soap Box Derby on May
18 and 19, 2012. Stock and Super stock classes will be held at the Kiwanis
Soap Box Derby Track located
at Phil Moore
Park.
This child-centered, family- and community-oriented event is both
fun and inspirational. New skills are learned and new
friendships forged during the construction of the cars. The
bonding experience between parent, grandparent, guardian or friend
creates memories for a lifetime.
